wow ok so i fail at updating this livejournal of mine. anyway some 'updates':
- i have a job! finally. i work at changi airport, checking peoples temperatures in case they have swine flu. pay is pretty good but the working hours are mad. i work 12 hour shifts (8am-8-pm/8pm-8am) but thankfully all the days ive worked ive been placed at the vip lounge at jet quay, the private terminal. we only get a handful of flights coming in each shift, and i get to "meet" pretty important people. think along the lines of former us secretary and sultan of brunei
- travel plans have changed YET AGAIN and if all goes well ill be off to england at the start of june. really really excited because ill be there for nearly 2 months and there are tons of awesome gigs happening while im there (GLASTONBURYYYYY OMG). cant wait to hang out in london too with my old friends. and we'll be staying in the north yorkshire moors for a while; we're going there to scatter the last bit of my dads ashes. good chance we might drop by paris or rome too! thats the great thing about going to the uk - the budget flights to other eu destinations
- currently saving up for a macbook. my ibook is really old, and if i decide to move back to england by this year i need a decent laptop to do my work on, and one with a webcam so i can skype with my family and friends here when im stuck in norwich. my target is 2k (i want the new aluminium one) and ive earned about 300 bucks from work so far. if i can work alot more this month, i might just reach my target.
ok yeah way too tired to continue with this. i promise a proper update soon with photos or smth.. way too knackered to function

so sleeeepy. i have a busy week up ahead of me. work tmr and fri morning at the airport, and then im working from morning till morning at the gilles peterson worldwide festival. really stoked for that because i was initially gonna pay to go, then i managed to get in as volunteer last minute
ok very sleepy ima gonna hit the sack
